This great card game is about planting, trading, and selling beans - 11 kinds of beans (this English version includes all the cards from the original game and the first expansion). Players try to collect large sets of beans to sell for gold. There is limited growing space and always new beans to plant. To avoid planting unwanted beans, players trade them to other players who want them for their bean fields.

I had read a lot of reviews of this game and was very interested in a game that could have 7 people involved and engaged as well as 4. If you look around the gaming world you realize that is a little hard to find.
This game is fantastic for that reason, it seems like we often have more than four people interested in playing a game and this works great for 6 to 7 players.
It's light, fun, and everyone that is new to this game really likes it. (oh and I agree with previous reviews, the artistic and creative element to the game are fantastic).

I was a little leery at first when I saw that it was a “card game”, but was soon very impressed by the strategic decision making and competitive trading aspects that got me hooked on this game. It has very simple rules and turn actions for the beginner to feel comfortable playing and enough strategy possibilities to interest those who are more advanced. Even my sister-in-law, who seems to hate all strategy games and trading games in general, admitted that she liked this game. And everyone gets a laugh over the artistic quality and creativity of the different types of beans. My favorites are the “red bean” and the “black eyed pea”.
